Accessibility

Death Fitness wants everyone to be able to use deathfitness.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, captions, or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are widely used guidelines for making websites easier to use for people with disabilities.

Our site does not fully meet that standard yet. We had our site reviewed for accessibility, and we are fixing the problems that review found. We will keep testing and fixing as we go.

Known issues

These are the main problems we know about and are working on:

  • Third-party tools. Some parts of our site come from outside apps, including the product review section and the pop-up cart. Some of these may not work well with a keyboard or screen reader, and some of their text is hard to read. If the pop-up cart gives you trouble, you can use our full cart page at deathfitness.com/cart, or contact us and we will help you order.
  • Videos. Some of our videos do not have captions yet.
  • Moving content. Some moving content, like the video at the top of the home page and the scrolling announcement bars, cannot be paused yet.

If something on our site doesn't work for you, contact us. We can help you place an order by email or phone, or get you the product information you need, such as what's in each deck, sizes, and weights.

When you contact us, it helps to tell us the page you were on and what went wrong, but you don't need to. Just reach out.
